Received some cool news the other day. A short documentary I did some production assistant work on will be playing in the MNTV Showcase on Twin Cities Public Television this December! (And by production assistant work I mean I carried a tripod and moved a chair once.)

Directed by Greg Carlson, edited by Mike Scholtz and shot by Matt McGregor, Lines of Communication is about the brilliant animator Angela Steffen, and the process of making her award winning short film Lebensader.

If you ever get the opportunity to see it, Lebensader is not to be missed. Winner of Best in Animation at the 2010 Fargo Film Festival, the film depicts a young girl who loses herself in the dual worlds of a fallen leaf (an allegory for Angela’s father’s bout with cancer).
