07.Jul.2010 Blog for Wednesday, a date in July that I don’t want to type right now, so I’ll just use an image…

Today I’d like to highlight a certain musician who was gracious enough to lend me the use of his song “Tiny Leaves on Tiny Trees” for my July movie, hópur. A big thank you to Mr. Olive. I hope we work together again soon!

Finding Sleep Maps was sort of serendipity in a way. It started a number of months ago when I was searching YouTube for videos from David the Gnome, an old Nick Jr. show I used to watch at my grandparent’s house when I was a kid. Olive had created a remix version of the title track, and uploaded it with a surrealistic video cut from the shows opening sequence. I think it’s rather fetching. If you haven’t watched it, I’d suggest turning off the lights, taking a controlled substance, and sitting back.

Peace and ravioli.
